An article by Digital Journal cited an article published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The article, “Diabetic Amputations May Be Rising in the United States,” indicated that lower-limb amputations may be rising in the United States after decades of decline, with approximately 230 daily amputations linked with diabetes in the United States.
