This week included news that insurers in both blocked megamergers—Aetna-Humana and Anthem-Cigna—are not interested in appealing the decision and instead want to terminate the deals, a new proposed rule to tighten up enrollment for the Affordable Care Act and stabilize the marketplace, and a new law in New Jersey that provides the strictest mandates in the country for treating opioid and heroin addiction.
