Why is it so important to have virtual support for family caregivers, and how does it compare to other forms of support?

Well, there are many forms of support for family caregivers. Support can be in person in the house, or it can be a training episode or program with health care workers, or it could be Googling the Internet for information—but caregivers find that pretty overwhelming. We find that with virtual support, we can continuously help the caregiver understand the tasks they face, advise them on how to accomplish those tasks, and help reduce their stress. So, the virtual technology, in this case a proprietary app that we have, allows family caregivers to have ongoing support when they need it and when they ask to receive it. It's a good way to communicate with family caregivers.
