The American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS) will hold its 40th Annual Scientific Meeting in New York, New York, July 13-16, 2022.
Among the sessions on novel therapies in retinal care, the latest technologies in ophthalmology, and instructional courses, the results of the Preferences and Trends (PAT) Survey and Global Trends Survey will be presented at this year’s annual meeting of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS).
The 40th Annual Scientific Meeting of ASRS will be held July 13-16, 2022, in New York, New York, and virtually. Each day of the meeting will feature the latest in wet and dry age-related macular degeneration, surgery, and diabetic retinopathy.
Among the clinical presentations are results on dosing strategies with anti–vascular endothelial growth factor and the efficacy of suprachoroidal triamcinolone acetonide injectable suspension to treat macular edema.

In addition to clinical presentations, there will be a panel discussion on transformative technology and multiple presentations during a technology symposium section. The technology presentations include one on smartphone-based home vision monitoring, which is the Fellows Forum Award Winner.
On Friday, ASRS will present 9 awards, including the 2022 Founders Award, the ASRS Presidents’ Retina Young Investigators Award, and the Retina Hall of Fame Award.
Finally, the ASRS annual meeting will include the latest results of the annual PAT Survey and the Global Trends survey. These surveys review technologies being used, therapies being prescribed, what influences decisions for treatment, and more. Respondents are both based in the United States and internationally.
The ASRS meeting will close on Saturday, July 16, with poster and film awards.
