Dr. Michael Duch Reveals How a Payer and Group of Orthopedic Physicians Are Collaborating to Devise Best Practices

Dr. Duch explains that this pilot program brings together the insurer and 5 orthopaedic surgeons to discuss how they each manage their practices, then examine the differences and work collaboratively toward a set of best practices that aims to streamline to 3 months each episode of care, being the time from when a physician determines which preoperatives tests to order to post-surgical rehabilition.
