A roundup from UNC Health included a video interview published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care®. The interview, “Using Active Surveillance to Spare Men From Unneeded Prostate Cancer Treatment,” featured Matthew Nielsen, MD, FACS, chair of the Department of Urology at the University of North Carolina, speaking about how active surveillance in prostate cancer can avoid unnecessary care that could affect the quality of life of a patient.
