A study published in a supplement to The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®) was referenced in an article by Drug Store News. The study, “Medication-Related Problems Identified by Pharmacists in an Enhanced Medication Therapy Management Model,” showed that use of an advanced clinical decision support system helped pharmacists identify a substantial number of medication-related problems among Medicare Part D beneficiaries.

A piece by San Diego Jewish World cited an article from an AJMC® supplement, titled “Insomnia Overview: Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, Diagnosis and Monitoring, and Nonpharmacologic Therapy.” The overview article indicated that the unadjusted prevalence of insomnia or trouble sleeping increased by 8% over a decade, from 17.5% (37.5 million adults) in 2002 to 19.2% (46.2 million adults) in 2012.
