An opinion piece in The Sacramento Bee highlighted an article published on AJMC.com, the website of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). “Infant Mortality Increases Across US Following Dobbs Decision” reported on the spike in mortality rates in infants living in the US, including a 10% increase in mortality among infants with congenital anomalies.

An article from IT Munch referenced a contributor column published on AJMC.com. In “Want to Provide Better Care? Start With a Better Communications Strategy,” contributor Kathy Ford emphasized the need for communication between doctors and patients to provide the best diagnostic care, as patient history is the most important method of identifying potential diagnoses.

An AJMC.com article, titled “Disparities in Cancer Mortality Among Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders,” was referenced in a piece from The Pinnacle Gazette. The article covered a study that found that cancer mortality rates have decreased by 1.5% in Asian American and Pacific Islander populations between 1999 and 2020.
