An article at MedPage Today referenced a study published in the May 2020 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®). The study, “Economic Burden of Osteoporotic Fractures in US Managed Care Enrollees,” found that costs of rehabilitation services and all-cause cost of care are 2 of the factors associated with a significant economic burden in osteoporotic fractures.

An article from Forbes referenced a study published in the June 2021 issue of AJMC. The study, “Management of Individuals With Multiple Chronic Conditions: A Continuing Challenge,” reported that the prevalence of people who have more than 1 chronic condition is increasing, with evidence-based modifications to care delivery processes being just one of the ways to help improve care management.
