Articles from The Hill, Time, StudyFinds, and Medical Economics referenced a study to be published in the September 2025 issue of The American Journal of Managed Care^® (AJMC^®) and made available online on April 22, 2025. The study, “Impact of Telemedicine Use on Outpatient-Related CO₂ Emissions: Estimate From a National Cohort,” found that the carbon footprint of the US was modestly decreased with the use of telemedicine in 2023.
