Jaja Okigwe is CEO of Seattle-based First Choice Health. Serving in this role since 2018, Jaja has presided over its renewal as a modern health benefit company. Over the course of a 25-plus year career in which he has advised companies across multiple industry sectors and in several countries, Jaja has developed a unique perspective on the US health care system, with a focus on simplification and appropriate technology.
As an imaginative thinker, Jaja has held key leadership roles, including leading strategic planning and innovation for Premera Blue Cross, a health plan based in Washington state, with 2 million members, and developing products and partnerships for a division of McKesson Corporation, presently #6 on the Fortune 500.
Jaja is fluent in French, Spanish, and English; an aspiring author; and a supporter of immigrants’ rights, adoption, and youth soccer.
Hw received his undergraduate degree from Harvard College and an MBA from HEC Paris.
