Camille Lloyd, executive director, Gallup Center on Black Voices, and managing consultant for Global Workplace Practices, Gallup, leads Gallup’s research initiative devoted to studying and highlighting the experiences of more than 40 million Black Americans. As a managing consultant, Camille’s areas of expertise include criminal justice, community preparedness and resilience, workplace and worker rights issues, and program and policy evaluation. She has co-authored several book chapters on best practices in juvenile justice education.

The representation of Black physicians is alarmingly low, but the opportunities for change are possible and urgent. Health care leaders and human resource departments need to address these disparities, and increasing diversity among their workforce is an excellent place to begin.
