The American Journal of Managed Care&reg Announces Suzanne Delbanco as Keynote Speaker for the Spring 2018 Accountable Care Delivery Congress

Suzanne Delbanco is the executive director of Catalyst for Payment Reform.

The American Journal of Managed Care® (AJMC®), the leading peer-reviewed journal dedicated to topics in managed care, proudly announces Suzanne Delbanco, PhD, MPH, as the keynote speaker for this year’s spring Accountable Care Delivery Congress. The program will take place on May 11 at the Marriott Marquis San Diego.

“We are thrilled to have Suzanne Delbanco delivering this year’s keynote address,” said Jeff Prescott, PharmD, senior vice president of managed markets at AJMC®. “She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, which will help the audience heighten their understanding of the application of the accountable care model.”

Delbanco serves as the executive director of Catalyst for Payment Reform, a nonprofit organization that works with employers, public purchasers and others to implement strategies that produce higher-value health care and improve functioning of the health care marketplace. She is also a member of the advisory board of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Institute and previously served as the founding CEO of The Leapfrog Group.

As the keynote speaker of the spring 2018 Accountable Care Delivery Congress, Delbanco will discuss a variety of topics that focus on payment models, benefit and provider network designs, and accountable care organizations. She will also highlight what employers are looking for in their pursuit of higher value healthcare from both health plans and healthcare providers to transition swiftly to value-based care models.

Designed for administrators and practitioners alike, the Accountable Care Delivery Congress explores the present and future of accountable care. The meeting offers a double-tracked curriculum that focuses on executive and educational topics. The executive track topics will delve into the next wave of care delivery, alternative payment models, and interoperability for successful coordination of quality care. The educational track offers 5 CME credits and the topics include chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, diabetes, heart failure, depression and pain management.
