Priority Health’s Joyce Chan Russell Named Emerging Industry Leader

Priority Health's senior vice president of government markets, Joyce Chan Russell, MBA, has been recognized for her innovative work at improving equitable access to health care with an Emerging Industry Leader award.

Grand Rapids, Michigan — Priority Health has announced that its senior vice president of government markets, Joyce Chan Russell, MBA, has been named a 2022 Emerging Industry Leader. She joined Priority Health in August 2021.

Russell is in charge of the health plan’s individual, Medicare Advantage, and Medicaid markets, with her current work aiming to support the annual enrollment and open enrollment periods in Michigan. Recognized for her innovative work at improving equity in access to health care, she is responsible driving growth, fostering partnerships with industry and government stakeholders, and ensuring quality and operational goals are met.

“I am truly honored to receive this award and am proud to lead such a dedicated and talented team of professionals,” Russell said. “Supporting health care for vulnerable populations is one of my great passions, and I’m thankful to be part of an organization that values creative thinking, is committed to achieving health equity, and is focused on making care and coverage better for everyone.”
