The new deal means that opportunities from both plans will now be available to all members, which encompass Priority's more than 1.3 million members and PHPNI's 52,000-plus members. This strategic move marks an expansion into Ohio and within Indiana for the 2 plans, which received financial advisory assistance from Cain Brothers and legal guidance from Faegre Drinker Biddle & Reath LLP (PHPNI) and Taft Stettinius & Hollister (Priority Health).

“With approvals complete, we will now be working over the next several months to develop opportunities for both companies to continue to grow and leverage each other’s strengths as we plan for future growth,” said Praveen Thadani, president and CEO of Priority Health.
