Research From PBMI Reveals Overall PBM Satisfaction is at All-Time High

Results from the 2018 Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) Customer Satisfaction Report have revealed that plan sponsors gave an overall PBM satisfaction score of 8.0, which is the highest score in 5 years.

Results from the 2018 Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) Customer Satisfaction Report have revealed that plan sponsors gave an overall PBM satisfaction score of 8.0, which is the highest score in 5 years. The report, released by the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute, includes metrics for non-specialty drug utilization and costs, place of service, and specialty drug utilization costs. Each area was scored on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 representing the highest rate of satisfaction.

However, the report also highlghted several areas for improvement, such as custimzation and greater flexibility, improved accuracy, predictive modeling for plan design changes, and dashboards. Read more about the report.
