The PAN Foundation Opens Atopic Dermatitis Patient Assistance Fund
The PAN Foundation today opened a new patient assistance program for people living with atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is an itchy inflammation of the skin. It is a chronic disease that affects the integumentary system.
The PAN Foundation today opened a new patient assistance program for people living with atopic dermatitis. Atopic dermatitis, also known as eczema, is an itchy inflammation of the skin. It is a chronic disease that affects the integumentary system.
According to the National Eczema Association, more than 18 million Americans have atopic dermatitis. Qualifying patients are eligible to receive grants from PAN to pay for the deductibles, co-pays and coinsurance costs associated with their atopic dermatitis treatment.
“Thanks to our generous donors, we’re pleased to offer financial assistance for patients living with atopic dermatitis,” said PAN President and CEO Daniel Klein. “The cost of paying for care should never prevent someone from getting treatment for this serious and chronic condition. By receiving financial assistance, patients can focus on improving their health and overall quality of life.”
