New study findings revealed that Hinge Health's digital musculoskeletal care program reduced chronic low back pain, disability, and surgery interest compared with a control group undergoing traditional treatment. The mobile-first, at-home exercise therapy and behavioral coaching soution reduced chronic back pain by 62%, reduced disability by 55%, improved daily life by 64%, and significantly reduced surgery interest. The patients who participated in the program had an average engagement of 90% each week and averaged 45.6 exercise therapy sessions.
The study included 177 patients who were employees and their dependents at participating employers across 12 locations in the United States. Read the full release.
